The JASSA Charter
We expect that all our members will act with a good social conscience and obey all statutes, business practices, and the spirit intended by the following seven principles. Importantly, our members should not only pursue profits through their fair competition, but also contribute to the wider society while engaging in the temporary staffing business.
1 While undertaking open and fair mutual competition, members shall at all times be aware of, and respond to, the needs of temporary staff , customers, and the wider community.
2 Members shall interact and communicate widely within society and shall accurately and positively disclose all required information to the Association and its membership.
3 Members shall provide a working environment within which contract workers may work comfortably and safely while at all times respecting their personal and individual needs.
4 Members shall encourage and maintain good relationships with relevant economic, political and administrative groups for the benefit of the Association and its members.
5 Members shall assertively confront organizations that seek to harm or undermine the normal order and safety of the society in which we pursue our legitimate business.
6 The Top Management of member organizations shall adhere to the spirit of this Charter in all they do. In particular, they shall set a good example for staff by acting as positive role models and by constantly communicating and reinforcing the ideal of effective ethical business leadership.
7 The Top Management of member organizations shall, on discovery of a breach of any part of this Charter within its own organization, carry out a full, fair and transparent investigation. On conclusion they shall apply a just, suitable and long lasting remedy that severely deals with transgressors.
